About Sally

A writer (working on my 6th book, hopefully out next spring!), mother of 4 children ages 23, 21, 18 and 12, partner for life and in ministry to Clay, my rock. I am a dreamer who always gets bogged down with the details of life. Have moved 18 times since being married–6 times internationally. Enjoy creating tasty meals, bringing festivity into my home through seasonal decor and music, art and candles. Love being intimate with my best friends–of whom my children and husband are at the top. Am probably ADHD and now know where my son inherited this. I sing and have recorded with Clay who is a song writer. Love to walk and hike, love being out in beauty, enjoy writing and speaking. Reading and teaching is a passionate drive and I love to think and learn, as well as to engage in lots of thoughts, ideas and discussions. I appreciate loving friends, kindness, courage and thoughtfulness. My wonderful children have become my soul mates and dearest friends.Don’t feel a bit guilty for enjoying my caffeine–tea and coffee. Love Jesus and am amazed at His integrity, which is why I can follow Him.

Hi Sally
My name is Susanne and I am a wife and mom of 4, 3 boys and a girl….I love being thier wife and mom, and I enjoy homeschooling them, most days :). I also enjoy hiking, coffee and spending time with good christian friends and in God’s word. I just discovered your blog, and feel really excited about it…Your books have been such an encouragemnet to me as a mother…especially when you speak of having joy in life and finding joy in family and friends, I love how you have written about how God wants to see us expriencing happiness in HIS LIGHT…thank-you for letting God use you for his glory, you have been a source of light for many moms!
