Passing from pain to eternal light

Thanks so much to all of you who have been praying for our family in regards to my brother’s illness. My oldest brother, Robert Bone, slipped into the presence of the Lord last night. I know that he is so free, now, from pain and the burdens he bore in this life and so blessed to be in the presence of Jesus! Please keep our family in your prayers in the days ahead as we complete our conferences and go to the memorial service. Also, pray that God’s grace and love would be especially evident to his three children. Peace of the Lord be with you.

  1. I’m so very sorry, Sally. I’ll keep his family in my prayers.

  2. So sorry to hear about your loss and praying that God will hold you all in His arms of comfort in this season just as a father comforts his little precious children.

  3. I will be praying for you, that you may be a reflection of God’s love to the entire family.

  4. (((((Sally))))), I’m so sorry for your loss and so glad that you are able to look forward to seeing him again.

Praying for your family and his.

  5. Dear Sally,

I pray for God’s peace and comfort for your brother’s children and your family. I ask that Jesus will minister to all of your hearts and that the Comforter will touch each of you in a special and personalized way.

    Bless you,

  6. It is wonderful that we have a hope to rest in, a God to hold us and a Father to wipe our tears. What a blessing to know that your dear brother knew Jesus and is now with him forever and that we will one day join Him in that glorious place where there is no pain, no suffering and no sorrow. But while we are still here, I pray that Jesus will comfort you and your family as you grieve the loss of your loved one. I am sure the pain is great, and I pray that the God of all comfort and peace will tuck you under His wing and hold you close. You and your family are in my prayers.

  7. Oh, Sally, I’m so sorry to read this. Praying you feel the arms of our wonderful Father as you deal with all that must be done. May He strengthen you for what lies ahead and remind you to take time to find joy in Him amidst the busy-ness and loss.

  8. Sally,
Your life is a walking testimony of God’s Love. May the God of all Comfort, comfort you and your family at this hour…
